ever read the Bible? start on the last book if you are interested in nuclear war.
It does not say specific countries will nuke the US. By most interpretations, the US is not mentioned. It does speak of the elements melting with fervent heat and passing away with a great noise.
Edit: Revelation 9:16: "And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand." 2 million man army . . . China anyone?

If we're speculating on prophecies, then Nostradamus prediction of the third antichrist was a man from the sand....or some shit. Most interpretted it as Sadam Hussein. Now they interpret it has Amajiranleader.Stingray24 wrote:

Interesting to say the least.
We have already read this book and we know the ending. America's demise will not come from a foreign power but rather from Macdonald's and saturated fat. On an economic scale none of those nations economies could survive on a weakened US economic structure. Mostly due to outsourcing and imports of course. You see they are just as reliant on the US. Why get rid of the person who writes your checks?

Here's one:
"Night will become day then vanish, even the earth will burn where evil exists."
Now guess what I'm talking about? Lighting farts at the drive in movies or burning down a meth lab. at night?
" 'Tis but an unweeded garden that grows rank with discontent "
Now guess what Shakespeare was talking about? You got it, Someones brother screwing his wife.
People can write all sorts of whacky shit that could mean 1 of any billion of things. Thats why they write whacky shit all whacky and shitty and thus the whacky shit results for whacky people to spend time pondering. If they really knew shit they would say things like " In 2020 those bastard Rooskies will nuke the US and end the world in doing it, dang."
I hope you can understand the fundamental flaws in this. Also, Americans should want a more democratic “multipolar world”. You see with more nations with expanded interest abroad it lightens the burden for the United States.Mason4Assassin444 wrote:

nostradaumus's last prediction was that hte last world war will be fought with sticks and bones....eery to think about it. we should be worried more about global warming then nukes btw.
Well lets see, India and Pakistan still pissed the fuck off at each other, the PRC is still suppling the DPRK with stuff(thats China and North Korea), Russia is selling AA missiles to Iran under the premises that they will be used to shoot down aliens......umm yeah, WWIII is coming up and I really hope the world lives through it.

I already have a muilti-billion dollar structure build under my property with enough supplies to keep 100 people alive for 2 years, it will survive unless a nuclear weapon goes off with in 2 miles, the nearest city(with a population above 100,000 is 4 miles away. *sarcasm off*usmarine2007 wrote:

Are you paraphrasing Albert Einstein, or did Nostradamus actually predict that?LethalShot wrote:

I don't believe in Nostradamus' abilities at all. Making a large number of vague predictions, of which some could be interpreted in a variety of ways, requires neither skill nor mystical power.
Neither do I believe that conflict between these nations is imminent. These nations understand what war, especially that of nuclear nature, can do, and how their countries would deal with it. Preferably, economic and diplomatic powers are used more and more between the larger powers. Each has little to gain and a lot to lose by attacking another great power. Territory, resources, and other traditional products of conquest are hard to come by, and instead the greatest accomplishment would be increasing one's own sphere of influence. Remember, though, most wars would now be intercontinental, meaning conventional warfare would be limited. To fight overseas is a difficult task. In the end, everyone would likely lose more than gain in conquest.
Of spheres of influence, Russia, China, India, and the US are all busy involving themselves in certain regions to be able to control world order. China is active throughout Asia, especially in socialist states such as Laos, Vietnam, and North Korea, while the US maintains influence in Japan and South Korea, dominating the rest of the Americas and is increasingly fighting to have influence in the Middle East, something that Russia is likely opposing. India is primarily concerned with itself and Pakistan, and as a democracy will have great trouble with warring with the United States at all. These power struggles are of influence, and often resources. War is not a viable option.
The article itself does not paint a picture of forming alliances AGAINST the US, but to help it deal with international crisis so that it doesn't act unilaterally and or dictate the terms of actions. This is a far cry from stating they are going to go to war with the US....honestly people i know you want to talk about the end of the world and all, but its just not going to happen....yet.

Hmmm, that's the first time I've heard that. I don't recall is talking about multiple antichrists anywhere in Scripture. You are correct about interpretations.Mason4Assassin444 wrote:

Japan's military is practically nonexistant.ELITE-UK wrote:

Before WWII we were not able to attack on a global scale. We were content to just stay netural, we really did not have a large army at the time either. We all know how the US effected the outcome of that war. (Yes, I do know that US did not win the war alone, but they were a big part of helping the Allies win)Bubbalo wrote:

I maybe wrong, but other then a national defense army, Japan does not have an army as part of the WWII surrender.devildogfo wrote:

The passage specifically numbers the army, that can hardly mean 1 of a billion things. Certainly much of Revelation speaks using ancient military terms, but that does not mean the passage does not refer to a modern army.Major_Spittle wrote:

The best thing about ancient prophecies is no matter how many times they turn out to be wrong, loads of people still believe in the next one... or maybe the one after that.Stingray24 wrote:

One cannot lump unchanging ancient prophecy in with date setting by modern humans. They are two very different things. I could say tomorrow Jesus is going to come back, but when it doesn't happen, that does not disprove a 2,000 year old prophecy.
