Heard this story on the radio 1 news this morning, the details were sketchy but it centred around something about calling some lass a "chav" or something. It hardly seems justification to take someone's life.
My thoughts are with his family for their loss, and also yours and the rest of his friends for theirs.

I m very sorry for your loss knightnifer. You told me last night on ts and i didnt really know what to say. My condolences to you and your buddies family.
Knifes are not the problem imo, weapons are just tools if used properly. A screwdriver can be as deathly as a knife or a hand gun. The problem isnt tools, its the people that use them.
If i have an arguement that cant be settled with words, i just walk away and go somewhere else. Give repect and you ll get it back.
Alot of people nowadays carry weapons for self defence. Does it make the world safer if everyone is armed? I dont think so. When you got a weapon, you can use it. When you havent got a weapon, you cant use it. Its that simple. So everyone, leave your weapons at home and tell all your friends to do the same. If everyone would do that, the world would actually be a better place.

Sorry dude. I know whats its like to lose friends. Im still in school, and one of my friends was killed in a tragic motorcycle accident in the summer holidays, while another had a car crash the following summer hols...

I'm not familiar with British terminology but what is a "chav" ? And sorry for your loss, last year was the worst year ever for me. I lost my grandpa/dog/uncle in a 2 month span. You may think yeah its just a dog, but when you raised it from a puppy like it was a child you could understand the feeling. Yeah I admit I cried so what, if that makes me less of a man so be it.

Makes me think how lucky I was last Saturday I strolled out the pub a bit worse for wear to use my mobile phone for a minute and 2 chav lads and 1 girl where sitting outside the spar came up with a knife and one of the fuckers broke my nose took my phone. Was so pissed off at the time but just thank fuck I didn't get stuck with the knife. More annoyed about cutting my night short to cancel my phone and bank cards.

It's strange that you always think it's never going to be you or affect you at all. It's always somewhere hundreds of miles from you. But when it happens, it really does make you realise life. It's like a wake-up call.
