Sitting here in Dublin airport having been advised that my flight to Oslo is further delayed to 3.35pm now. It was supposed to be at 12:00pm - then they said 12:30pm - then they said 2:25pm - now 3.35pm - they're making it up as they go along.

While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

Ryan air sucks balls big time..

The fact that you get charged for all your luggage per item.

You know in some cases you can actually fly for free on Ryanair?

Anyway, that is how ALL airlines operate.  You NEVER delay a flight out more than an hour.  Why?  Because a solution to the delay may present itself due to other circumstances.  If you told people it would be a 4 hour delay, guess what would happen?  People would disappear for a while.

As for baggage.  Baggage equals weight which equals more fuel burn which equals more money.  Pretty simple concept.

And what was the delay for?  Maintenance?  Weather?  No corned beef?

What does it mean?  Well, being a budget airline (they are not alone in this) they lie about the cost of their fares.  They advertise that you can get a return flight for next to nothing but don't tell you that the taxes are not included in the advertised costs.  Jet2 are particularly guilty of this.  In any other line of business, you're obliged to advertise the actual cost that the consumer would pay and stick to that price.  However, since I last used them, their website does seem to have improved.

Scare?  The scariest landing I've ever had was coming into Leeds/Bradford (from Dublin) and I swear we bounced twice before putting down.

EDIT: In view of the latest addition to the rules, the credit for the nickname goes to Ben Lovejoy and his nürburgring site but I feel it's particularly apt.

Well I refuse to vote, because I have been on Ryanair 4 times, first Tampere-Frankfurt Hahn-Tampere adn second Tampere-Frankfurt Hahn-Tampere. It is the only airline I have flown with and I have no complaints.

Simple, if they are crap don't use them. Problem solved. Easy peasy.

A terrorist is on-board a Ryanair flight to Paris, Beauvais, he forces his way into the cockpit and holds the pilot and co-pilot at gunpoint:

Terrorist: "Take this plane to Paris."

Pilot: "We are going to Paris."

Terrorist: "Beauvais is nowhere near Paris."
