How exactly was this tested? Even when prone, bullets go slightly different directions even if you don't move at all and wait 20 seconds between each shot. I don't think this has any real value...

I don't really know but I self tested and it is pretty accurate.

The one regarding MR-444is very true- The MR-444 always hits pretty high above the iron sights (I would know since I have over 2k pistol kills).

It's taken out of the game code, the developers were just too lazy to make the visual sights actually line up with the coded sites.

If I'm not mistaken what I've read with regards to modding BF2 the engine is hard coded to always fire directly at the center of your screen(then adding deviation on top of that)....

You could do this your self by taking screen shots and drawing lines as shown carefully splitting the pic in half horizontally and vertically.

As some one else said, some of the cross hairs are just drawn slightly of center...
