Ok before I bought SF, EF, and AF I had no problems with BF2 I also have the 1.41 patch. I am having ONE PROBLEM. When loading almost any map I dont play on a lot it freezes while its loading. Some levels I cant even get to work even after I try and try. Not only does it freeze but it freezes my whole computer and I have to hit the reset switch. So has anyone else had this problem ? A simple fix ? Its so annoying to have all these maps I cant use!!! ANYTHING will be helpful!

A well known issue that might be the cause , is installing SF after 1.41 you need to reinstall BF2 and then SF then the patch i think if that doesn't work then im lost as to whats wrong.

No, man this is the sequence you need to install:
- 1st uninstall, clean disk, defrag, restart, etc.
- install BF2
- Install SF, EU, AF
- Install patch 1.41

Wow I guess Ill do that but what a terrible way to waste a hour or so! I have the EU and AF on disc though so I guess that will be better than having to re-download them. Thanks for the help!!!

Hey guys thanks a lot but I still dont know whats going on. Last night I uninstalled everything then reinstalled bf2 and SF. Before I updated to 1.41 I treid to go unto the SF map night flight in 1 player mode. I still froze right after it finished loading. Also I have been reading about all the voip problems and I've also never been able to get mine to work. For starters when I install bf2 the voicesetup.ee or whatever doesnt respond to anything. When I press any button on the keyboard it makes that sound like its not responding. So when I hit cancel another screen comes up saying this progream is not responding. and I guess I just skip it! Damn it I just wanna be able to play my game on whatever map and talk to my squad!!!!!!!!! Is there anyone out there thats a BF2 fix it genious ?

What worked for me, Uninstall and clean, Install bf2, update, install SF, update then try to play. iff all goes well, install AF and EF, and update between. If this doesn't work, I would check out your ram.
