I smoke weed no matter what im doing. class, work, games, chilling. so does my family and most of my friends. i dont mind not smoking every now and then, but its just so much cooler to smoke than not to.
i sometimes drink while playing if its the evening. if i actually get drunk then suddenly my performance plummets. i just start charging everything and if somebody has some great positioning and kills me, ill stubbornly go at them again and die the exact same way.
also, nothing makes bf2 playing official like a can of rockstar or red bull. i think i might go to the store and pick one up before i start playing today.

I don't do either, because I'm not legally allowed to =p But seriously, most alcohol tastes like shit to me (some dessert wines with late harvest grapes are OK) and smoking fucks you up. It also would interfere with my ability to play well.

As a matter of fact my friends and I were lanning and decided to break out a few beers which then became a few more and a whole lotta hard alcohol. I downed 2 beers in less than 10 minutes and though I wasn't feeling drunk or tipsy, I did notice my perfomance increase. I was really excited and drank a whole lot more alcohol. Then I was sitting in my chair and it hit me so I just quit because I could not focus at all and just felt really tired. But we're planning on doing it again tonight, so maybe I'll try again!

I usually drink Irish Cream Liqueur while playing BF2.. At the begining it's ok... but then I start falling over the rooftops and can't hit anything.. and that's the sign I need to stop playing

At weekends, I give myself a glass of rum, Captain Morgan special gold that is. Or just some beers if my wife has bought me some.
Friday night I'm usually drinking and fighting. The rest of the week i'm sober.

I must have beer before matches (and during), or else i`ll suck. Bf2 will make me an alcoholic eventually
i have noticed that few 1-3 beers/shots make me more accurate/relaxed but if you go over three then only way is down, but that dosn't mean that i dont drink more than 3 beers 1-3 better playing 4-... hell of a lot funnier specially when playing with friends
