First G36C, then PKM and now it's the G36E, it seems the BF2 community always united behiend one single weapon and complain about it saying it is over powered. Well it makes me wonder which gun is going to be blamed for all your stupid deaths next time? I vote the RPK-74, but the M16, G3 and AK-101 are up there.

I don't know why people are always complaining about guns. Not all guns are created equal, and you have to base your game play around the gun your using. Overpowered? Such things shouldn't be said about a weapon. The more powerful, the better the gun is, and the more it should be used to gain an advantage against players who are using less powerful weapons. If your using a weaker weapon, then don't get yourself caught in a situation where your going to be blasted. This could mean increasing or decreasing height or distance between you and your enemy.
The argument about weapons that are "too powerful" is made by people who only rely on their gun to kill, not the environment around them.
Now if we're speaking on the terms of which guns are the most powerful, then you've got yourself a poll.

i think it'll probably be the DOA-12 or something, they might just mess with shotguns and make that gun a godsend
Edit: the Ak-101 pwns everything anyway, why is that on the list? i'm not quite sure how they could make that gun more powerful, lol

It doesn't matter, its whatever gun is used the most. Every gun except a couple is exceedingly lethal, i noticed no chinese weapon is on there. I garuntee if there was any half decent PLA infantry map they would hammer out the other weapons in power.
The RPK-74 might not be very accurate but it has low recoil and can just spam out bullets, so yeah it is my choice. And the M16 is almost identical to the G36E except the G36E does two more damge, but in total they take the same shot to kill. Also the G3 is more accurate single shot than the Ak-101 and it does more damage.Fenris_GreyClaw wrote:

I've always found the RPK-74 preferable to all the other support guns, even the PKM. Nobody seems to complain about it that much though. But I've actually been called a noob for using the M249, so who knows...

Btw I voted M95 because once you get hit your basically dead, leaving that little teeny tiny sliver of health is more annoying then getting one shotted is because it's like the gun is mocking you. You can't run away because if you run into anything you die, you can't go down stairs fast because you'll die, you can't even take a pistol shot to the foot because you'll die. Plus the M95 is the true "n00b Cannon". F**kin .50cal Sniper rifle, lol.

Rpk-74 - One of the best guns in the game if used well.
Ak-101 - As above
L85a1 - Doesnt take long to learn how to use, if you thing its too steep, you must suck at aiming.
Dao-12 - Dominating at close range
G3a3 - Awesomely accurate at long range, needs clip increasing to 30 bullets.
M11-87 - It's a shotgun. Not a machine gun.
M95 - Its a BOLT ACTION sniper rifle. Not an SVD.
L96a1 - As above.
Fn2000 - far less powerful than the AK-101, probably more accurate at long rage because of the scope.
None. The g36e is the only gun i complained about (Although, i had a stage with nades but there easy to dodge now i know what im doing)
I think it'll be the RPK next. I like it a lot, I use it a lot, and I get good scores with it a lot. Meaning I'm a noob for using it.

DAO 12 was nerfed when you couldn't shoot after you jumped anymore...
to be honest the only gun in the game i would say is seriously unbalanced is the RPK. Its powerful and accurate, and far superior to all the other basic support weapons except in close range if they get the drop
but it has its weaknesses so..
G36E is not overpowered, its just really easy to use and do well with, but two even skilled players against each other 101 will beat G36E most of the time, or at least in close combat.
