It's clear that Palestine has some issues to solve within its borders??, before they can achieve peace and get to a definitive solution to this conflict with Israel.

What Should Palestine Do to Achieve Peace?

Hey they voted in Hamas, and nothing has improved for them. . .
In order to achieve peace they have to realize Israel isnt going anywhere. Not too mention that terrorist acts against them (Israel) do nothing but provoke unjust acts against them as well. Obviously the fighting continues to be a stalemate, and as a result a military solution is not possible. The Israeli's wont back down from their positions and either will the Palestinians, it appears cooler heads need to prevail here. . .
However, it appears that the Israeli's are more willing to work with the Palestinians. The Palestinians seem to want to find a military solution to the problem (as seen by the kidnappings, bombings etc.) still.
Either way the only thing that might help (stop the madness) is the FULL independence/autonomy of a Palestinian state. I hope they can aquire their own state, because I think its long over due! and would end a lot of needless bloodshed. However, when you have a majority elected Hamas government which is a sworn enemy/terrorist group running the show, not a lot is going to get done. . . .as demonstrated in recent acts of violence against Israel and civil (Hamas v. Fatah) fighting.
That area of the world is a mess, and always has been. . . . but an independent state free of Hamas and Fatah might just be the answer the normal Palestinians have been looking for!

A state WITHIN a state is not a plausible solution, reverting to the ORIGINAL partition is now not a plausible solution due to encroachment of Israelis into what would have been Palestinian land.
Essentially what the Palestinians "should" do is essentially contest their inability to be part of the Israeli government and demand representation in it via an election of sorts, you'll come to see that the Palestinians FAR outnumber the Israeli population perhaps then they could receive their rights back as normal human beings.
