Well, I was having this discussion/argument with Jens. So I thought I would ask all of you guys. What chocolate do you believe is the best in the world.
Belgian is for me.
Fact.

Ever tried 100 euro chocolate by Pierre Marcolini? You would die its so nice.

Belgian chocolate is smoother and more natural, also it is original with all the pralines and different types of chocolate, while swiss is somewhat "normal" chocolate only tasting nicer than shit cadbury because it is made from real cocoa beans.

Thoughs?

Wow. No taste. Swiss is just plain ol' chocolate, Belgian steps it up a level and makes chocolate that bit more enjoyable. If you have not tried both then DONT VOTE.

Actually, there is, it the the most "sought" after chocolate in the world that is considered the "best".
I am just pointing my view across, and I know it is personal preferance but I just wanted to see what other people thought.

i also vote swiss. i find that Belgian chocolate is too fat. you cant eat bigger amounts without getting sick. swiss chocolate is way better IMO. also i'm swiss so that might influence my opinion somewhat :p

If you have tasted "proper" chocolate instead of the mass produced stuff Cadbury's make then you'd realise.

Not to say Cadbury's is bad, it's just like the difference between a 5 quid bottle of wine from Tescos and a vintage Lafite-Rothschild (one of the best red wines money can buy).

The main problem with this poll is that few people will have actually tried both of the top end chocolate from both countries.

From my understanding the "middle" band of Swiss is much better but the real good stuff (as in the £50+ stuff) is where the Belgian's win.
