Ok you need to play somthing else like cards if you get bored. For me I hate all the hackers in bf2 that is why I left it for over a yr.

For anyone that says it's short, go look up how much play-time you get out of typical games... Unless it's a MMORPG logging hundreds of hours on most games is unheard of. Yes, if you play something for hundreds of hours, eventually it gets old. This game, and oh, every other game ever. You can beat most RPGs if you play them nonstop throughout a weekend, but no one seems to complain about that...

he does have a good point. most good games can only give you about 50 hours of gameplay, if you're lucky. some are incredibly replayable, but not all. personally, if i can get 80+ hours out of a game, i think it's money well spent.BrknPhoenix wrote:

Somehow 2142 is short/easy. But it's not my fault.
- played the game for 1 1/2 months and am Brgd General.
- achieved around 10.000 career points only through the private bug.
- got these ribbons (2500 c.points total) always the second round i had my private bug on the server.
Plus the normal batches.
I can't really blame EA/Dice for it 'cause it ranked me up pretty fast, but suddenly I have all the unlocks and 2142 get's a little boring.
In BF2 I am still 7000+ points away from beeing a
general so that's right now my goal.
Mostly I am playing commander or whoring F18/MIG on CLean Sweep.
If this pvt. bug wouldn't have appeared I would probably still be playing 2142 because of the ranks and weapons.

well i think 2142 is a bit easier in terms of awards, weapons.
me personally, i love the sniping aspect of the game. every 5 head shots " soldier you deserve an award" hearing that phrase is music to my ears----infiltrator pin
i am working to get at least 70% sniper accuracy with my zeller... hence i am the " thebestshooter"
i will be probably the most accurate sniper in the whole Bf2142 community soon. and not to gloat or extend my ego. just people with high k/d ratio with a sniper rifle cant hit a car with a slingshot..lol

I agree that most of the awards are far easier to get than they should be. I have the Gold Knife badge and it only took me 3 or 4 rounds to get (after 2 very annoying rounds where i had 16 knife kills).
All the timers are shorter for badges and have lower requirements than BF2 had. And the fact that you get points for awards meant that i ranked up daily until around the 2nd Lieutenant stage. And then it was every few days. While i'm still playing 2142, i'm now also going back to BF2 again.
