When I get my 2nd gig of RAM in about a week, will I be able to max out 2142?
I have 1GB now & I run All Medium 4x AA @ about 50FPS...never dropping under 40 even in the titan.

With 2GB RAM would max settings be a possibility?

oh ya my CPU's a AMD 64 3000+

doubt it, I'm surprised at the fps you are getting now though... what res are you on ?

Id say just about all high, may have to drop aa to 2x or turn it off.

Why are your surprised. A x800XL is a pretty good card. 16 pipelines, GDDR3 etc.
It was actually the 3rd most powerful ATI card out when Bf2 1st released.

Pretty much all cards have GDDR3 nowadays...

If you have an LCD display I'd recommend setting the resolution to 1280 * 1024, which should be the native res. The game will look SO much better it's not even funny. You can't get 1280 * 1024 under normal video settings, so you'll need to right click on your game shortcut, go to properties, go to the target field, and add "+szx 1280 +szy 1024" to it without the quotes.
