J. D. Tippit was the Dallas policeman murdered on November 22, 1963, 45 minutes after the shooting of JFK. Tippit's murder was immediately pinned on Lee Harvey Oswald.

Basically, Kennedy was killed from the grassy knoll. The cop was picked because he resembled kennedy and killed. The wounds to him matched the trajectory from the book depository. The person buried in Kennedys grave is Officer Tippit.

Damn they need to update that website in the first link.... it's so '90s it hurts my eyes.

But I'm suprised that theory isn't very well known, given how long it's been kicking around. But unfortunately, even though it makes sense there is little actual proof, unless they can dig up the body and find the lumps of wax...

edit: would wax even still be there... it's waterproof, so maybe... unless it was removed before he was buried, of course
