Can't decide if you should make the jump? Like Windows too much to switch? Why not have both running... at the same time!

- Story -
Just bought a white MacBook over Christmas and found out about a program called Parallels Desktop http://www.parallels.com/ I installed it and didn't realize it had this feature until later. I had just been using it with my external monitor, which lets me have both OS's running on their own screen at the same time. Once I found out about this Coherence mode, well I just couldn't believe my eyes.

Frankly, I don't see myself switching back to Windows based systems any time soon anymore. I still have my gaming desktop of course, but I don't think I'll be investing much money in that... I'll just save for the next gen Mac Pro Desktop, which by then they should have 3D graphics perfected and you should be able to get the best of both worlds.

Either way, you can always install Windows XP/Vista in its own partition and have it run at full speed with whatever hardware you have.

It is a bit sluggish sometimes (they haven't perfected 3D graphics performance yet), and they are still in early Beta, but the features only seem to keep coming and coming. However, I've been able to use most software perfectly, and have even done some PSP video encoding at a decent 30fps. Anyway, flame away mac haters, but with iPhone just around the corner, and the new abilities these macs seem to have, well it's just a great time to be a Apple/Mac user.

Vista is useless without its first service pack atm.

There are so many holes/bugs, that it just begs for problems
