I'd say at least 20% of the forum users here could do a job equal to or better than the job that cretin is doing.

No denial here. The guy is a cretin and deserves every bit of 'constructive criticism' he gets.

hhhhhmmmmmmm, let see. justification of the iraq conflict.
ok since thats what people seem to be really hung up on, let me see if i can explain it to you.

first, we were attacked on 9-11 by terrorists.
second, these terrorists come from, mainly the middle east.
third, if we do not make ourselves available to attack in theyre backyard, they WILL attack us here. dont believe me? look at israel.
thats it plain and simple. it comes down to national security.
flame me, i laugh at you.
1 second so because a small group not a country attacked you, You will go to a country kill 600 000 innocent people and lose more troops in the process then the amount you lost in the actual attack? You killed more of their innocents then the terrorists killed yours? Who is the terrorist again?
Thats silly.
600000 is a bogus number and your not being intellectually honest. We lost more troops in a month in WW2 than in we have in more than four years of combat in the middle east.
Go put your head back in the sand, I'll wake you up when the Marines are finished doing their job.
Yes and WWII was the largest conflict EVER. The war in Iraq only compares to wars that Alexander the great was in. If not even smaller.

Some people killing people in your country never gives you the right to go invade other countries that had nothing to do with it.

I agreed with removing Sadam but tbh I hadnt realised what this situation would bring about. If I had I wouldnt have agreeded with the war in Iraq.

I've a serious question for the Americans, not intended as an insult to bush.  I'm merely trying to clarify something.

Books I've read in the past (mainly war fiction) usually depict the president as having an important say in the decision making process but usually a decision is made by congress, joint chiefs and whatever other levels of government there is etc and they present this to the president for his feedback but the final decisions isn't solely his, all or some parties have to agree.

Is this how it operates?  Or do you feel that it's him deciding everything based on his feelings and demanding that  the rest of the government should come around to his way of thinking?  Thats how it looks to me as an outsider and it's something i totally despise about Tony Bleaugh's method of governing the UK.

We have what is called a system of checks and balances. This means that no one branch of the government is allowed total control over the decision making process. For the last few years both congress and the presidency has been held by on political parties. This has now balanced out.

You know, I love to sit and read what everyone writes.  It makes me laugh to think that people actually think that they can do what someone else is doing, and do it better.  Especially when they are talking about the President.  How much do you think we actually know what goes on????  We aren't supposed to know everything.

People are always bitching about the President.  No matter which one it is.  He is always an idiot.  I say BS.  Of course he isn't perfect.  NO ONE IS!!!  But, is he doing a better job than the alternative person would have.  I say, HELL YES.  Think about if for a minute.  Al Gore during 9/11.  LOL, please.  I live in Tn.  I Have most of my life.  And Let me tell you that he is an idiot.  I don't know how he got as far as he did.  I guess there are more morons in Tn. than I would like to admit.

Kerry, that moron wanted to just completely pull out of Iraq.  LOL, idiot.  Don't get me wrong, I would love to bring everyone home.  I have many friends and some family that are over there.  But think about the message we send and the damage we do by pulling out.  The country would be in 100 times worse shape than it is in now.  We are keeping it sooooo much more civil than it would be.  IF people actually thought that we were going to be able to go over there, knock out Saddam, and pull out.  Then they don't think things through.  What if someone came in and invaded the US?  Would all they have to do is kill Bush and leave?  Hell no.  They would have to reestablish goverment and keep in check everyone that would revolt.  It takes time people.

Ok, lets just say, screw spending money abroad.  We will just spend it on education, healthcare, poverty, and such.  Soon, we wont have it to spend on.  Don't get me wrong, I wish we could.  But poeple stop thinking about the whole picture and think about the one thing that pisses them off.

I wish people would stop, and actually think before they bitch.  The society as an average is a spoiled brat that is extremely immature.

Time for people to suck it up!!

That is my humble opion.  I know that I will piss off some people, get called a dumbass, and more.  But, I don't really care.  I see to much evidence that supports what I say.

Oh and Spark, No, Iraq isn't the whole middle east.  But it was a HUGE source of the funding for the terrorist.  Got to start somewhere.

His logic, however, was:

Bush, the most powerful man in the World?  Is that the title the American press give him?  Don'y make me laugh, he can't even pass a law without the opposition having to agree too.  How can he be the most powerful man in the World when his party aren't even in power?  I would say (and this type of thing is always philisophical) that whoever is in charge of China is the most powerful person in the World as they rule over 1 billion people.

This wave of "Bush Love" is on the back of him crying at a ceremony for a brave solider who threw himself on a grenade to save his comrades. The photo of him crying is plastered across every paper I lifted today.

Now I don't denies that he was genuinely crying and he was genuinely upset. But those tears were the tears of his conscience. Realising he put that guy in the situation were he had to give up his life to save his buddies over his administrations bullshit resource grabbing war I'm sure upset him greatly.

Sorry stryyker but its an important job and you have to hold him responsible for how he does it, not just that he has the title.

what i said was simple and to the point......you dont want to see it and thats fine.
FLAME ME.......
you know you two could really make a difference in your OWN country i bet.....................
but here in america most of us dont really care what people half way around the world have to say........my family is safe. i feel that it is because we EXPORTED a conflict and would not allow attacks on our soil again.
i sleep well at night...right before i fall asleep i have a good laugh about all the people in the world that think they matter..........
