I think there's one person missing in this picture, the most important member of Al-Qaeda.  Find out who is the one missing there.
Would that be the media or Bush you're refering to.

I would highly recommend people to try and download or otherwise view a program I saw on Channel 4 in the UK last night. It was called 'Dispatches: Meeting the Taliban'. It is very apparent to me that Al Qaeda and the Taliban do very much exist. This propaganda-free program leaves you very much under no illusions. It also leaves you under no illusion that the mission in Afghanistan is destined to fail.

It's just gone up on UKNova too. Possibly a better source, especially if you don't live in the UK and so can't access Channel 4 video feeds.

What are you trying to say?
President Masharif's Pakistan contains the Al-Qaeda training camps Afghanistan was invaded for. They cross the boarder, kill coalition troops and retreat back to Pakistan to re group. The coalition forces can't follow as they need clearance so the fighters disappear. The job of hunting down the fighters and training camps falls to Pakistan's Security forces who, if they are anything like the general population from which they are drawn, will be against any western interference and therefore aren't being as vigorous in their pursuit's.
How can these camps exist in a country allied to the 'war on/of terror' ? Personally I think Masharif's intensionally looking the other way. So to me, hes near as guilty as the Talliban where in harboring Al Queda.

hunting down and eliminating all traces of a terorist network like al-qaeda will probably never happen.
Best. Fictional. Terrorist. Ever.
Jack Bauer could do it.

Of course he could. He tracks down fictional terrorists all the time.
