since i know enough of other peoples minds to know i don't want to see the rest (telepathy)
living forever would be so boring and you would have to watch everything you care about die and/or decay
psychokinesis would be fricking cool so its my second option
and augmented vision would be nice but it's just not as flash

and surely if you had autopoiesis you would be able to engineer yourself a better working brain, a more beautiful appearance, be able to churn out any combination of self made vaccines to destroy viruses or be able to alter your DNA so the diseases would no longer be able to infect them, be able to just grow muscle, flight meh just grow some wings or something.

Because when I get sent to Iraq, I could walk off base and hunt down insurgents on my own, no need for backup as they could die. I could just walk around and take out insurgents as I please.

Can't really understand why there are so many who vote immortality.
Honestly, I'm not to keen on dying or anything. But I do believe that death is needed to live a life fully.
I mean; if you have the knowledge that you'll live forever, won't that just make your life hollow?
I feel that life without death would just lose all meaning.

youth could do with lasting longer, and old age should be shorter but overall a good 80 years of life is very good if you go about it right, i mean the awesome things people must see in their lives and probably never even think its special, like watching the moon landings live for the first time, seeing the berlin wall come down, celebrating the year 2000's arrival, being there when wars were declared and when they were ended just so many things that can't be done by anyone else (unless they invent time machines)
