One of the freakiest, scariest and most impressive games of the year.

I'm not fully convinced that words describe the beauty, atmosphere, and stunningly scary tone that Remedy was able to achieve in that short demo

The system running the demo is running on is a Falcon Northwest.
Intel Quad Core OC'ed @3.73 with a 8800 gtx.

Alan Wake was arguably the prettiest game we saw at E3 this year — other games might be able to push more pixels, but the art direction in the scenes created some breathtaking vistas, and had the crowd oohing and aahing as day turned to night.

Actually, after looking at the videos, it looks EXACTLY like Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (when you are in the wilderness at least).

I have high hopes for Alan Wake. The Gabriel Knight series was the last mystery/adventure I was able to get into, and I hope AW can resurrect the genre. Also from your sig, Hellgate's another hopeful great coming up.

ok next up grade will be to an intel quad core and a dx10 card along with 4 gigs of ram so i can run the game on high and pwn at the game like holly cow 1 whole core just to make a tornado then one probably 4 back ground apps and the pther 2 4 w/e els is left

As long as I can render animation on 3ds Max, run a playlist, an MSN convo and an online game all at once, I'm happy.
