Perhaps there has already been a topic about this (probably) but I can't seem to find it. (So flame me)

Are the requirements for the 2 ranks between Brig. General and Supreme Commander known yet?
We all know that Supreme Commander is a rank that EA/DICE gives at one player at a time every week.
(How they choose those players remains a mystery *kuch*dartboard*kuch*..)
But does EA/DICE also choose the Maj. General & Lt. General ranks?
Or are there requirements for them?

As far as I know, only three people at a time can be a major/lieutenant general.

I dont have BF2142 but im getting it today. I assume you must need vehicle medals like in BF2 but im not 100% sure.

Since im new to 2142 can someone tell me how long does it take to get to Brigader General? I spent 500hours in BF2 and only got to 2nd LT.

Less than 200h. I'd say; 150-200h, depends on how high your SPM is. Mine is about 1.70 and I got Brig. General at around 180hours. (I'm more into my KDratio of 2.65)

Well Brigadier General is around 57,000 Career points ... And Career points are so much easier to get than in BF2 ...

I'm on 31,000 points at the mo, played over 180 hours (I think) ... Yes, yes, I rank up pretty slow =]

Edit - Back on the topic ... no clue at all - maybe the Top 2 get Maj & Lt ... but WoKeN is only a Brig Gen now.
I think Supreme Commander is best TOTAL commander score in the past week? Oh I dunno, I'm useless ...

Wow that seems alot easier with the Career points and all. But KAIN is in the lead with 114,330 points tho and he is a 1-star general.

Nah the last supreme commander had no commander hours, go figure. And had sweet FA time as a squad member. So its a BS rank. Im 4x better than the last supreme commander. So it might Just be a big dart board. I can't be arsed finding the thread. Its 2am and i want to go to bed. Might find it when i get up again...

There already was a Supreme Commander? BUt no one has been Major or LT General? There must be vehicle/class medals/badges required to get to those ranks like BF2?

I'm 2x the soldier half these Supreme commanders are lately. Some of them are just outright pathetic...damn dartboard has to be pretty freaking big.

I got it around 100-115. if you get awards you get your rank much faster

Anyone worked it out yet? A clan mate of mine just got Maj. General today making him our highest ranking member (myself and 4 others are trailing in Brig, then all our colonels etc) weve all got more points than him but I suspect its all the silver vehicle badges yes?

Don't even bother. Here is one BF2s.com member who "had" that rank and said that he will keep it till the end and his name is always at the top... his name is banksd1983

check his stats... lol ... sorry ... lol big mouth but nothing behind it..

1. I never lost my major general rank. In fact, I never had it. I went straight from Brig General (1 star), to Lt. General (3 stars)
2. I have no clue what he means by the second part of his rant. I never said my name was "up there", in fact, I asked him what "up there" meant.
