I've been playing BF2 for awhile now, and I'm starting to do more squad leader work.

Problem is, I find that the squad I create will fill up with TK'ers and screw up the squad score.  I know that I've been kicked from squads for the same thing before, and also by clans who want to "team up."

So -- how do you kick squad members?  I've found the invite tool from the MANAGE SQUAD screen, but there's nothing to click or right-click to kick a squad member.

Also learned today about precision orders using the map screen.  Didn't know I could issue commands from that screen as a squad leader.  Go figure.

It's under MANAGE SQUAD.  Click on the squad members name and something should highlight that says KICK MEMBER.

It also under manage squad...in stead of selecting people who you want In your squad
you select squadmembers you want out, then simply press apply...

...and they are gone

OK -- I'm maybe not doing this right then.  I can see a list of UNINVITED players in the BF2 squad leader interface when I click on MANAGE SQUAD.  Where are the checkboxes for UNINVITING squad members?

See my response above -- can one of you guys take a screenshot of that "kick" functionality?  'cause I'm NEVER seeing it.

P.S. - How 'bout a screenshot of issuing commands from the minimap too?  This is all new to me -- documentation for this game sucks.

At the top of the list of players not in your squad there is a list of players in your squad. Just check their boxes then click "apply".

Do what Gamematt says,

I dunno (haven't played BF2 in ages) but if its the same as in 2142, then you just click the manage squad thing, then instead of the inviting, you select the person in your squad and then click apply, the person gets then kicked.

For the first thing....read my post above ^^^^.


Commands from the minimap: just right click on a point and you will get a list of commands, for example: attack, defend, move, repair, zoom etc.

N.B. This only works as squad leader or commander.   As a squad member you can only "zoom".

unde MANAGE SQUAD theres invite section thats only below the kick section, u just select players u want to kick and invite, the klick apply and theire gone.
