wow..... that's pretty heavy...
gets you to thinking huh?

really inresting, though it has been studied for years now.
My head hurts.
i love string theory. I found this online a while back and watched it several times.

It really makes you think hard but is probably the most amazing series that i have every seen.

Well wait, you kind of reach an infinant wall of dots containing dots containing dots, i wonder if there are any 4th demention creatures living in our universe?? We would seem so stupid and useless because we only see 3 dimentions, those creatures would think of us like we would think of a 2nd dimention creature. Thats so crazy, it kinda changes the laws of physics on EVERYTHING because technicaly that would be a way to travel long distances in space. Something a human mind would take a long time to comprehend.... wow

If you want a child-like understanding of the first four dimensions, go read "A Wrinkle in Time." The fifth is basically what we would call a wormhole in space. The rest...well I'll probably go crazy before I can fully understand those.

wow that was pretty cool and interesting....+1
I think I need to smoke a joint and then have another look at that
I love science, makes you sit back and really think about life and how you can, in theory, live forever.
you said it. Stargate makes it sound so much siimpler. i think i'll stick witht he Samantha Carter version of astro physicsDarkhelmet wrote:

Astronomy magazine has an interesting article this month regarding string theory.

What if string theory is wrong?
If it is, then dark matter, dark energy, and cosmic inflation are in big trouble.

I watched all that but did not understand a thing after the 5th dimension
It comes together at the end. The 5th is were it starts to sound repetitive.-[Silver.Inc* wrote:

weird
String theory and multiple dimensions was something that I could never have at least a small grasp on, even though I've read some of Stephen Hawkings books. This was much better. Good find, +1.

Chaos theory ftw!
this is like the 4th time that link has been posted here.
Very interesting but I can imagine it all being a load of bullshit
First I've seen the link. Loved it.
As for it being BS, well, we're not capable of determining if it's right or not, but it's fun as heck to imagine it.
