As many have noticed (if you have a high end system), unlike BF2, some of the guns on 2142 have detailed writing on it. many have the zoom labeled on the scope, others are different. What I was wondering is if anyone has found out what this writing says. For example, the knife unlock says on the side of the blade (if i remember correctly), "Dogtag Dagger--M2000--Titanium Blade". I also noticed that the Baur has something strange written on the side of it, but the AR rocket re-load is too fast to see. Has anyone noticed any other writing, warning label, or anything else?
Hmm i vaguely remember seeing something on the BOFORS, but you don't see that much anymore....
try taking a screenshot of it and then zoom in a bit to read it better.
Well, on my high end system (not on it now), you see many things you don't see with the normal one.
Example:
The Shuko has "nVision" written on the scope when zoomed, and also has some numbers on the left-hand side of the gun on what looks like an LCD screen. I forgot what they were though
There's an icon/picture that shows up on the baur, the voss, and the shuko, near the sights/clip, too.
one of the guns says "DICE Arms Co."
more to come

Ok. Here is the screenshot of the dagger (read the blade)
and here is a little chart i found on the portable support shield.
on the left it says something like "control settings" and the 2nd column says "volts" and gives some numbers. The rest I can't read.
EDIT: I looked through the game textures and found the writing on the side of the baur.
Its very similar to the PAC weapons so i think its PAC made.

that's definitely much more detail than BF2! Thanks
i think we need lifes...
I think your post is useless. And have you never been curious about the weapons?Mafia47 wrote:

"Denna sida mot fienden" is more like "This side towards the enemy."X-Ecuti0ner wrote:
In battlefield 2 if you have it on medium/high graphic settings and you look at the claymores its says 'Face the other way' in Swedish. That is what my Swedish friend says anyway.
Here is the proof

The funny thing i think is, on the back of a MEC support solider, the claymore writing is in English, as compared to the claymores in the game.Kratos Aurion wrote:

maybe it is possible to turn up the power of the shield to stop a tank shell?Unclean009 wrote:

Where can you find the textures of the guns?Unclean009 wrote:

Ok. If you look at the back of the MEC support soldier on BF2, on his backpack, on the top, is a claymore that he is carrying. The writing on it is in English.Ender2309 wrote:

The spec ops head phones in BF2 has little dice symbols on it, i hvaent looked much at the 2142 weapons though.
ref the claymore? do you not think the language on the claymore depends on the installation language?
And they say that in real life. "This side towards enemy" type of thing.

it doesn't. I have friends who have theirs set to a different language who get the same exact things i talk of. The one on ground is in like swedish and the one on the MEC support backpack is english.Use0fWeapons wrote:

BlackCats has done a great job getting a ton of high-res images of unlocks, weapons, and vehicles on her website
