M16 Assault Vs Medic
Assault
Medic
Same as the Ak-101. The assault's M16 is less accurate during a jump (doesn't matter at all), and while moving. However, they're both the same while standind still.
Doesn't matter because at the ranges where you spray and pray, the 0.2 diffrence will never be noticed.
Assault
Code:
ObjectTemplate.createComponent SoldierDeviationComp ObjectTemplate.deviation.setFireDev 2 0.2 0.05 ObjectTemplate.deviation.minDev 0.3 ObjectTemplate.deviation.setTurnDev 0 0 0 0 ObjectTemplate.deviation.setSpeedDev 1.2 0.2 0.2 0.1 [!] ObjectTemplate.deviation.setMiscDev 3.2 1.5 0.05 [!] ObjectTemplate.deviation.devModStand 1.5 ObjectTemplate.deviation.devModCrouch 1.3 ObjectTemplate.deviation.devModZoom 0.8
Code:
ObjectTemplate.createComponent SoldierDeviationComp ObjectTemplate.deviation.setFireDev 2 0.2 0.05 ObjectTemplate.deviation.minDev 0.3 ObjectTemplate.deviation.setTurnDev 0 0 0 0 ObjectTemplate.deviation.setSpeedDev 1 0.2 0.2 0.1 ObjectTemplate.deviation.setMiscDev 3 1.5 0.05 ObjectTemplate.deviation.devModStand 1.5 ObjectTemplate.deviation.devModCrouch 1.3 ObjectTemplate.deviation.devModZoom 0.8

cool, didn't knew that, always thought that it would be a bit unfair for assault, so this would make sense!

Thanks for the replys guys...especially looking into the weapon files
I was wondering why anyone would laugh at your graphics, but apparently we both have shit graphics
I'm on the verge of nearly all-lowing my graphics I wish I had the money for an uber computer
a medic can heal himself an assault person can't so yeah it seems fair that the player who is assault should have a slight advantage when aiming, even if its only in the mind
either DICE were very clever or just made a dumb fuck up...

Yep its different
at least they are both accurate long distance cause the engineer weapons SUCK !

I always wondered why I could kill easier with assault than medic...-[Silver.Inc* wrote:
G'day,
Ive always thought that the crosshairs on the assault AK101 were smaller, but I never bothered about it. Today I dropped my medic AK101 and picked up the assault one and immediately realized that the crosshairs on the assault kit were in fact, smaller.
Discuss.

In RL gun with attached GL would be more accurate . More weight >>> more stability >>> more accuracy
it is, i think so anyway, maybe because of the Gp-35 or w/e, its heavy, so its less recoil for the gun itself
hmm same gun specs its just phycological effect because of crosshairs (much like the m95 an l96a1)-[Silver.Inc* wrote:

anyays bak to the real story : when i was playing along side of you the other night on inf only server (u prob dont remember) yer dont take that as me i usually play 10 times better i was having an off day and i swear to god some of those smaktards were haxing sneedy007 or watever hes name is .. a lil sus i cant think of anyone else but there were some people who would own 1 round like full own it up hard an then get anal smacked the others
but the "NO G36E" sqaud was a sick idea takes alot more skill to use a real gun uh
incorrect, a GL would weigh the front down, making it harder to aimLongbow wrote:

Several guys in my clan are/have been in the army/marine corps/etc and they all said the assault one would be less accurate
