Is Happy Kwanzaa offensive?

In response to this poll, if someone wished you a Happy Kwanzaa, because they celebrate it and are trying to be nice to you, would you be offended? If so, then why?

If Merry Christmas is okay, then Happy Kwanzaa or Happy Deepavali or Happy Hanukkah should be just as acceptable.

I don't really know why anyone would be offended by any of these, including Happy Holidays. They're all just examples of people trying to extend greetings to each other and be friendly.

No I would not be offended. I think it is a silly holiday that was fabricated in the 60's ... just out of a quest for a sense of identity ... real holidays have long standing pagan roots.
