So, I downloaded Xfire and tried it earlier. I pull up BF2, get into a server, and the mouse won't respond. Even if I alt-tab out, still nothing.
So I rebooted, and tried again. Same problem.

So, how do I get this to stop?

Let me rephrase myself:

How do I get Xfire and BF2 to work together, without removing one?

Do you have the newest version of Xfire? If so, can you run it without BF2 playing?

Newest version, runs fine without BF2.

EDIT:
But BF2 won't run fine without it. Problem recurred after removing xfire, had to reboot forcibly after 5 minutes on 'connecting to account server' and I couldn't alt-tab or alt-ctrl-del out.

Why oh why can they not release patches via bittorent?
