I noticed that when you have the private bug, you can/have to, earn your lower (i.e. bronze) badges over again before getting your next (i.e. silver/gold). It's an easy +20 points when you're going for your silver, but it's kind of stupid. Maybe it's just me though. Because for some silvers, don't you have to have a certain amount of time? My example is silver knife or silver pistol. I got my bronze knife, noticed I was marked as pvt. and was able to earn my bronze knife again, then my silver.
