My unit was doing a CAX (combined arms exercise, for you civies) and we had the luxury of cobra support AT NIGHT EVEN.

When that cannon lit up I swear the entire firing line just stopped shooting and stared. I know it wasn't but I swear it just looked like a lazer beam coming off the front of that thing. The Cobra in my opinion is the best attack helicopter in the world. The Apache is more public, but is plagued with high tech issues, the cobra is just simply a big ass gun, with a 2 man crew and a fan blade over their heads, which is all an attack chopper needs to be.

Choppers can be heard and rain of blackhawk minigun fire follows. But i ve never seen a blackhawk with rocketpods, its probably 2 gunships(apache's or cobra's) firing their 30 mm cannons and rocketpods. Btw you can see the 2 gunships banking right after their gunruns to reposition themselves for a second run.

What do you guys think? This isnt a couple of blackhawks right?

AH-64D Longbow apache has 14 fire and forget hellfire missiles that can track and destroy 14 different targets at the same time. that pretty much makes the AH-1 obsolete.
