Here's one:

In a cabin in the mountains, a group of people lie dead. The doors and windows are locked, and there is no way into the cabin. The people died suddenly and did not kill themselves or each other. They were not poisoned, gassed, suffocated nor froze to death. How did they die?

A man was shot to death while in his car. There were no powder marks on his clothing, which indicated that the gunman was outside the car. However, all the windows were up and the doors locked. After a close inspection was made, the only bullet-holes discovered were on the man's body. How was he murdered?

You are in the basement of a house and it is night. Their are 3 switches in the basement that go to 3 light bulbs upstairs all the switches are off. The door to the upstairs is closed. You may only go upstairs once. How do you figure out which light switch goes to which light bulb?

He was shot outside, but got into his car and closed/locked everything up then died?

the gunman shot him before he got in the car and then put him in the car and locked the doors and rolled up the windows

That establishes who is the liar and who is the truth-teller but it doesn't answer what's in the cups.

Ask one if he's your daughter/girlfriend/mother/wife if he tells the truth and answers "no", then ask the liar which cup contains the poison and drink from the cup that he points to. If he lies and says "yes", ask the truth-teller which cup is the cup that contains everlasting life and then drink from the cup he points to.

Turn two switches on, go upstairs. note which light is off. 1 down.
Go back downstairs, LEAVE DOOR OPEN.
Flip remaining switches to determine which light is which. 2 and 3 down.
