A lot harder than it looks trust me and they don't appear to mention the costs involved once it gets to the claim stage. Min £120 court fee win or lose and in time for Christmas, not a chance!
My Personal Time-line on a Natwest Bank Claim
- Subject Access Request: Sent 5th Sept 06 (asking for statements)
- No Reply
- Follow Up Letter: 27th Sept 06
- Statements Rec'd: 4th Oct 06
- 1st Request for payment: Sent 5th Oct 06
- Reply Rec'd saying no: 18th Oct 06
- 2nd letter sent threatening court: 20th Oct 06
- No Reply
- Applied to court 13th Nov 06
- Acknowledged within 14 days allowed giving them a further 14 days
- 11th Nov 06 defended claim buying them further time
- Today: waiting for further correspondence
