I recall reading before this game came out that the ranks in this game will go all the way up to General.

And I think thats right as when it was first released 2nd Lieutenant was unheard of.

So anyone know what the next rank is/will be?

Score: 10,142 of 200,000,000. At your historical rate, you should earn 199,989,858 in 160 years (or 734,873,489,677,890,587:32:58 straight).

Your ranks are correct for the Army of the United States with one exception.  Sorry dude, Commander In Chief, or CINC, is not a military rank but a title. CINCSAC was the title given to the General Commanding Strategic Air Command, for example.

The proper name given to the highest rank as allowed by US law is General or the Army or General of the Air Force, or Fleet Admiral which is 5 stars.

Army guys, I'm Air Force so help me out on this.  In the Air Force the officer that enters combat is usually equal to or below the rank of Major.  Colonels manage entire wings of aircraft and do not enter into combat directly.

Again, this is in reference to the armed forces of the United States.  Colonels are part of a group known as field grade officers who command large groups of companies. Companies are commanded by Company Grade Officers which are Lieutenants and Captains.

Majors and Lieutenant Colonels are also Field Grade Officers.  As a rule, Colonels do not carry rifles but do carry a sidearm.

Well the next rank is "rankname2". As you can see by looking at the stats of some 2nd Lt

i've flown combat missions with full bird colonels.  light colonels are all over and above the battlefield.  marine light colonels were in direct firefights in iraq.  what you're saying is a good enough "rule of thumb" though.

I was B-52 aircrew during SAC and the only time Air Force Colonels flew was to maintain their currency on the airframe.  Same goes for the B-1B I currently support.  Marine Colonels flying ground support combat?  Tough birds considering F/A-18s take a stress on the body.  I flew F-4Gs and they killed me in my 20s with the G-suit and ill fitting helmet!!!

Yep, and I don't think there's actually a certain point value for it.  Well hopefully the final ranks will be cleaned up in the next patch.
