Help with the lag.....
Internet
Verizon fios / 5mbps to 1mbps
CPU/ 2.00gz.... 120gb of memory and 545 mb of ram

Graphic Card = Navidia G-Force 6800

With 128 mb itself

Humm i think i got all the details so if im missing anything plz tell

I want to get ride of the dam lagg.

Vid card should run at Mid/High @1024x768 with 40-60 FPS. It's the RAM. Definitely get 1 GB if not more.

BTW, asiankid, your memory=RAM. 120GB is your HDD space.

and i think the 1-5 is a misdescription, as in 5mbps down/1 up.

Are you sure you have the 128 bit? I have the 256, and do run slightly higher, but I doubt that card would run that well...

Get more RAM. It doesn't change anything, except you don't look dumb, you still need more RAM.

Yep, I did have the 128 bit. Sold it to a friend. I did overclock though.

1.5 gigs of ram minumum I would say if you want no ram lag at all. I had 1 before and got lag at every beginning of the round, went to 1.5 and never had a problem again.

Well yeah, and from this guy saying he had 545 mb of RAM I highly doubt he overclocked his card or did it correctly, so he wouldn't get those frame rates with that card.

clearing thongs out? sounds hott... and your ram is probably your issue. have you run fraps or anything like that to check your framerate in game? if you don't have fraps, there's a way to make battlefield display your fps. if you see your fps, you'll at least know if the problem is your computer not being fast enough or your internet connection. what sorts of pings are you getting?
