Foobar2000 is my default player but I can't control it whilst in-game with global hotkeys. So I tried winamp and the same.

I would like to know too. Winamp works fine with other games, but I was able to stop a song during map load once, I think BF is REALLY hogging up the sources, unless it has something to do with key binding.
Anyone who knows an mp3 player or who has gotten it work, would be great to know how.

Well I found a solution of sorts.
Windows Media Player (WMP) - YUCK!!
But it works in-game. On my keyboard I have multimedia keys, which didn't work for the other players but they do work with WMP.

ya i have an ati remote wonder that can control wmp. its the only one i can get to work during bf2.
There was a program for winamp that let you control music in BF2, but it turned out to include a hack.
If you have a Logitech G15 keyboard you can sort of control it there.

well it was the -code- for the hack, not the hack itself... it was all a ploy to see if pb would detect it/ban it... and if they did ban it it would also ban this player...TriggerHappy998 wrote:

Actually, I find I do alot better when I'm listening to music. Apart from sacraficing my ability to hear grenade throws/footsteps and so forth, I find that I pretty much do better because I have a "I dont give a shit" attitude going on when Im listening.. makes the game less serious and I have alot more fun too.StokoE wrote:

I find using a stereo works the best. Just rip some CDs in MP3 format and your good to go with a couple hundred songs.
Not sure if people are still looking for the way to get the G15 to work in game. Here is what I installed and it's working just fine in game with winamp. From what I read this should also work with the other logitech keyboards with media controls.
