Funny shyt with boats...

Ok, just finished playing a round on SF called Iron Gator..for those who dont have the expansion its another carrier map. Whatever, was playing commander and mostly just using the 50 cal sniper rifle to shoot helo pilots, so got to watch all the boats having fun. Proceeded to watch one of my guys in a patrol boat ram the side of an enemy patrol boat...didnt blow it up. Instead the enemy patrol boat lifts front end up completely in the air so that only the motor on the back is staying in. Boat proceeds to move around in huge circles for close to 3 minutes before the guy stops moving and it drops back down...and then i sniped em. Just wonder if anyone else has ever seen this or for that mater done it...glitch and dumb luck on the guy or was he really good a controlloing a boat?

Its awesome on Wake when you run over the downed plane's mesh near the US island and your front flies in the air.

Whilst i was defending the point in a tank, I saw a boat begin to flip. It took off and a J-10 which was tailing it flew underneath it and crashed into the water. The dude piloting swapped to the gun position and started firing everwhere. He then landed upside down in the water, still firing. At this point I ended his fun with a tank round.

yes i've seen it.most people i've seen do it accomplish it by not completely fliping the boat over inside the carrier hanger when they are trying to do the engineer stat pad trick.

Just crash the boat into the side of the carrier and you will have the same result. If it doesnt flip upside down. Looks quite cool indeed.

This isn't the boat trick you guys are talking about, but I thought it was pretty cool. I was trying to flip the boat by ramming the carrier, but instead I simply went underneath it. It let me drive all over under the carrier, although it made nasty metal scraping noises the whole time. The boat never took any damage, so it's possible to stay that way forever.

I've tried to recreate it, but whenever I try now it just flips me over. Somehow I got the nose to go down instead of up and over.
