My son got a free unlock!

Anyway, neither him nor I have SF and when he reached sgt. he got two unlocks. Not only did he get 2 unlocks, he was able to unlock the G36E and has used it on ranked servers.

Has this happened to you? and how do I get it to happen to me!

btw, my son is 10 and doesn't use any hacks, cheats, or any of that nonsense.

Holy shit I figured it out!

My friend has SF and my son and I went to his house. My son was bored and he logged on to his account and played a couple sf maps while we were there.

That is so friggin cool!

So does that mean all of us without sf can get the extra unlocks if we go to someone's place with sf and play a map or 2!

Yes, thats what people have been doing. But i'd much rather buy SF and earn the guns rather than being cheap and asking someone to unlock them.

yep, huzzah exploit. A few friends of mine have done it. Out of the 5 or so people who play bf2 on my hall at college (including myself), 4 of them have the sf unlocks, however there's only one copy of Sf among us.

I've unlocked the sf guns of some friends of mine, however the're still going to get sf this christmas. They just wanted to enjoy the new guns early.

Same thing happened to me. When I ranked up to Sarge, I was given two free unlocks (this was a week or two ago.) Still have no idea how or why. No complaints here. I have SF though.

Yes. If some one play SF with your account and get 1 single poing (not even map or two) then you'll get those unlock what you suppost to got from SF. And you can unlock those with your regular BF2 so your friend don't even need to unlock those weapons, he/she just need get 1 point while playing SF

Every time you rank up after logging into special forces you will recieve an extra unlock. I ranked up a few days ago and go another two unlocks on top of the two I got when I originally logged into SF.
