I don't know how, but apprently IGN and Fileplanet fucked up when they gave me my key. I got one for Europe, and one for North America. Accidentally used the europe one.

Is anyone else having trouble connecting to a game? I click the quickmatch options, and it says "joining game" but it just brings me back to the menu.
Yep, servers are overloaded right now. I really don't think this was a closed beta tbh.
Wow, I just got into a game, and holy shit that was fucking amazing.
It might just be that new game smell, but that was probably some of the most fun I've had in a while. The graphics and sound were absolutely top notch, and shooting people felt really really awesome
EA and DICE certainly weren't screwing with us when they were talking about destruction, Bad Company really has it all. I was trying to infiltrate a building complex and ran into a fence. I figured "Shit, I'll have to walk all around to the main entrance, blowing my cover" Then I realized, "Fuck that, I'm going to blow this fence up. And then I'm going to blow up the wall of this building. And then I'm going to blow up everyone inside. "
Almost everything is destructible except for the ground itself. Buildings? Yep. Fencing? Yep. Plants? Yep. Trees. Sure. It's destruction on a Crysis level, except online with other people.
Going from 64 player battles to 24 player battles is...noticeable, but there's still plenty of action to be found. Shooting enemies is pretty fun, although a bit laggy and unresponsive. The game doesn't really do well in terms of telling you that you're getting hit, you could be walking around and suddenly see your screen turning red and your health going down and have no clue what's shooting you.
The sound design is...amazing. Everything sounds really really big and powerful. If you thought that BF2's weapons sounded really weak and without umph, you'll be very VERY satisfied here. Weapons make big loud bangs and shooting shit just feels awesome. Gunfire sounds of all around you.
In the end, I came out of my first couple of games very impressed. This feeling might wear off...but for now, I had fun.
On the note of having to buy weapons: Yes, there are 10 weapons that you need to buy on Xbox Live Marketplace or buy the Gold Version of the game. Oh well, tough. I've got money. Besides, this isn't the first time EA has sold weapons. Hell, unlocks were half the reason to buy Special Forces and Northern Strike. The new guns in Euro Force too, so don't make a big deal about it and go around screaming "zOMG teh EA R NAZIS!!"

I totally agree with killar on this one. However the GL has to be fix. I've never been in a game you can hit someone DIRECTLY with it and survive. EVER...
But this is the reason they have betas, to iron out all these issues...! YAY!

Easy ranks meaning a few hours of game play and your half to top rank. Unless they are going to have a prestige mode type thing.

lol yea its going to be interesting to see what they do after the beta cause I really hope they extend the ranks. They however have a shit load of medals and unlocks. Of course you have to buy 10 of them...

Guys don't get me wrong this game is well worth the play. Even if you are you not going to get a chance to play the beta I would strongly suggest buying it if you have a 360. Its so awsome being able to take out buildings so snipers can't hide.(THEM PUSSIES)
