First practice run in Melbourne, Austrailia in around 57 minutes time.

How do you think this season will end up? Will it be as dramatic as last year's? I'm really keen on Lewis Hamilton, I'll be following him the whole way, and also looking forward to Heikki Kovalainen's debut season at McLaren

It's going to be an awesome season. I can't wait for the Singapore GP. I mean a city course is sick as it is, and then they do it at night!

And then there's the Valencia street circuit.

Too bad they're towards the end of the season i.e: still ages until they arrive

Also no traction control and overall less computer crap controlling the car

I'm hoping that Kovalainen will show that he's got the car and nuts to compete for more podium finishes than last season. Naturally I'm hoping that Räikkönen will do extremely well also, but I hope he doesn't say anything during the whole season, not even during the press conferences. I've had enough of his eunuch-voice.

But yeah, Kovalainen will be the guy I'm gonna be following.

It remains to be seen if Hamilton can foil the plans for muchos points for both Finns. Probably.

Just noticed, no United States GP. Oh well, so much for bringing America into F1.

I cant wait.  It should be a great season, Mclaren have something to proove...so does Alonso back at Renault...Ferrari hehe they always have something to proove, I think Kimi will do well this year, Massa could also suprise us as he often does.

Overall, lacking the politcs and scandal of last year, I expect this season to be far more entertaining.

I go against my heart (am a Ferrari fan...) and pick Lewis Hamilton to win the season.

Boring like the last 10 years.
Will it be as dramatic as last year's?
The result may have been, the scandels may have been but the racing sure as hell wasn't.

A good start... but still only a start. They need to do way more, and I'd be starting on the down force.

I don't even bother with that these days.

Well I didn't watch all of the practice but from what I saw it seems that Räikkönen came out for the most part on top. I'll be supporting Heikki all the time! Last year he was definetely the most improved driver and I really hope we see some results from his this year!

Massa ran ok in qualifying, and Kimi had a fuel pupm issue from what I hear.
Ferrari are typicaly very reliable, so at this point, I dont see it being much of an issue, tho, I dont see Kimi winning it either.
Massa will have his hands full up toward the front of the grid, the new BMW seems to go quite well.
With Hamilton on pole...yeah, Ferrari may be fcked this weekend

Rooting for Raikkonen and the BMWs. Alonso can go anally impale himself on a rusty fire hydrant.

Alonso has no chance with the current car. He will only become a podium racer half way through the season, when they perfect the car. But they are nowhere near that now.

Yeah, Alonso is out of it this season I reckon, it'll be McLaren/Ferrari again and I doubt that Renault will be in it, although I'd love to see a 3 horse race for once. Or even 4. With BMW being seriously competitive too. I hate Alonso and I hate Ferrari, if Alonso joins Ferrari it would simplify my hate alot

Naturally I'll be supporting Hamilton and Mclaren all the way.

Kubica was on fire in his last lap

Although, of course, Hamilton shone and stole that pole position right at the last second
