Being recon with increased invisibility and knifing all who try to capture silos is fun. 2142 works with vista and 2 does not so 2142 is all that i can play now until i get XP and the introduction of dog tags, assault lines, beacon spawns and titan mode add gamplay.
2142 is gooood ... usually better teamwork action than in BF2 these days

My BF2 works with vista but the game is so choppy as my ping is low but it breaks up and makes aiming awful. I would fire a burst at someone and they would have already killed me and moved on before the gun fired.gvers wrote:

Got it installed, never play it though
all you have to do is run 2 and 2142 as administrator and you will have no problem playin 2 on vista. right click the icon and click run as admin and you will be fine.Rorscarch wrote:

There's better gameplay and more diversity in gameplay in 2142 IMO, but BF2 maps > 2142 maps.
But if they brought back dolphin diving and C4-chucking, it might make them equal in my book.
