Official 2010-2011 NHL Thread

Even though we lost in OT last night, I'm INCREDIBLY happy with how this season is going.

1) Tavares has put up 18 points... he's doing better than Vincent Lecavalier, Olli Jokinen and Pavel Datsyuk. I see him finishing with 60-70 points this season.
2) We're above .500 and battling for a playoff spot after being dead last in the previous season.
3) Matt Moulson, a freaking minor leaguer who made it to the team by pure chance, is impressing everyone around the league. Plus, he has the BEST canadian hockey name ever.
4) We've got 2 #1 goalies (though Roloson's been pissing me off in the shootout) with DiPietro set to return in maybe a month or 2.

Sure, there's some stuff I'm not happy about... but after being #30 last season, I can't complain.

Marine you watched the game tonight?

I was at the Bell Center and what a fkin game we had! Habs are playing some good hockey in the past weeks, hopes it continues like that. And we still have alot of injuries!

We could of called it "Bulldogs of Hamilton vs. Columbus Blue Jackets" yesterday. So many injuries, yet we were able to play good hockey. Can't wait to see Gionta, Gomez, Spacek, and Markov come back to the game.

Also we'll see what happens with Pouliot, if it's going to be a bust or not. I have somewhat faith in this trade but it's still to early to decide.
