Damn! Just bought this game yesterday! Pretty good, But i keep getting owned! lool i can't kill with the stupid noob guns and I cant find a server with noobs in it lol! Every server I join is full of no life high ranked player. No I dont go in Hardcore servers.

Any ideas?

People on hardcore servers are fkin crazy! I dont even have the time to aim at them that they kill me.

I was looking for some newbish servers but found nothing

You might be going about it the wrong way. It's no BF2 or CS for sure. I hear a lot of people say it's a run and gun or spray and pray game, but I found alot of success in playing strategically.

Pretend like it was your real life at stake and that it maybe is not a good idea to try and duel with machine guns in the middle of the street.

Sneak around, keep moving, always be looking behind you... set your keyboard up to your preferences and find a setup that works good for you.

There are a lot of controls in this game, so mastering the use of them all in fluid motion should be your biggest challenge- once you know how to move, owning is fun and easy.
I get more kills by peeking around a corner to shoot those who just rush out into the street.

My friend just stared for a second and palm-faced and called me an asshole (since I took his kills). Probably my funniest moment in the game.

Use the grenade launcher.

I only really started using it yesterday (AFTER getting to level 55) and my score and KDR each round literally doubled (from 350 ish on a 15 minutes TDM to about 770 ish).

So yeah. Otherwise you'll get used to it. You'll eventually find a niche' weapon and own (mine is the silenced g36c)

As soon as I got the G36c it went easy, just try out al the new guns you unlock and if you notice you die a lot by a single type of gun try killing the guy and taking his gun

QFT My first 2 hours were really bad.. I kicked in the doors, walked in with my m16 and got gunned down from 30 different directions.

At about hour 3, it hit me to pick up someone elses modified weapon. Ever since, I am always on the lookout for P90s and M44's
Once I started grabbing these previously unavailable weapons, I started doing considerably better.

Yeah, but I meant killing most of them with the cooked grenade and then finish them with the second, dropped grenade.

Lol, with me its the total opposite, I own at COD4. In every match i always finish first with no exeption here is an example if the team wins:

Me: 30 kills

2: 20

3: 18

If we lose, this is what happens, its hilarious:

Bandoiler+Stopping Power+Steady Aim

This beats the crap out of everyone, even those noobs that use martyrdom, you can also top down sniper easily like that!
