Maximum length for a frag video?

I'm in the process of making a video, got all footage (~140GB) and I'm doing the editing atm.
An I got so far almost 20 minutes. I could easily go above 30 minutes....

My question is: What would you guys recommend as the maximum length?

Btw, it's going to be a AF little bird frag movie. <-- If you need that info to judge the length...

if it's just public servers, 5 minutes but if your a real pro in a pub 10 minutes if it's a movie with a little story and good humor 20 minutes.
if it's sick sicks sick sick skills could go up to 30 minutes, good story sick stunts and good humor up to an hour

I'm editing each scene individually. the beginning has a little story that will be around 5 minutes.
But after that it's mostly frags. I'm editing it not the way so you can see every 3 seconds a kill I'm rather going for good scenes.

If you have 30 mins of footage, make sure you have the BEST of the bunch and make it 10 mins. IMO it will make a better video

I've done loads and loads of editing (I've taken a film class and I currently work at my university's tv station) and here's my advice to you:

Don't have a specific length in mind. That will only ruin the project. I've done it before and it sucks. Just go through and find the best footage (great kills, things that make you laugh) and throw it in. The most important thing for a frag video is that it's fast-paced. Use quick cuts and don't show any boring or uninteresting setup. Make sure you show the best parts and then move on, we don't need a 3-minute setup to a simple kill, the audience will lose interest. If your kills are good and the movie has a great pace, it could be 30 minutes long and no one would be the wiser. So long as it has a good pace, it'll keep the audience sucked in.

Also, trim it down as much as possible. It's better to cut something out than to keep something in. If you're wondering as to whether or not to keep a certain kill, get rid of it! I'd rather watch a 3-minute frag video of some insane kills and great action than a 10-minute video with good stuff here and there, but mostly shit dragging it down

Make sure you go out and watch a LOT of frags to see what NOT to do.
I would say 3 minutes tops on a inf frag unless there is something really unique about it that warrants 5.

if there are just single kills, maybe 4-5 minutes. if you got some good times with multiple kills in a row + some funny scenes, maybe 10 mins max.

i watched some quake3 videos which were 20 mins long, but those had awesome kill and long kill streaks
