The award for most beautiful stadium in the world has got to be the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany. I would love to visit the stadium and watch a game sometime in my life. I'm just awestruck at the brilliance of the design and architecture.

What do the Germans think of it? Anyone here actually been to it? If you have, what did you think?

I'm not German, but i do like that Stadium. Other good stadiums include the Berlin Olympic stadium, went on a tour there once, The Nou Camp, and new Wembley

New Wembley, you can see it from so many places. The arch is massive. When it's lit up, looks real nice.

You just reminded me, some of the World Cup stadiums from Japan/Korea were beautiful, but they've knocked most of them down. Sapporo dome is amazing.

also, that german stadium looks kickass...is it enclosed? or is it going to look like a giant powdered doughnut?

i think the nicest stadium we have here in australia would have to be the Melbourne Cricket Ground, humbly known as the 'MCG', or even just 'The G'

I was actually in Bavaria the second week of May. We were supposed to go see FC Bayern Munich play Cottbus, but the people who took us over there (our "fixers" if you will) fucked up and it was an away game. Passed by the stadium, it was absolutely magnificent. Later on in the trip we took a bus tour of Munich and spotted it again from atop of the Munich Olympic Tower.
