According to EA everything is as it should be now... I don't know if resetting the server would help in anyway... Fact is that all stats are DELAYED big time because the servers are trying to fetch up.

I think there is still a lot of confusion. While the backed-up data is being processed, you might not see any stats updates going through. That's because your stats get put in that queue and have to wait for everyone's data to be processed.
Give it time to finish up with all that data and you should start seeing normal processing.

Officially it is supposed to take a 'few' days. Of course, that is because it is an estimate since there is no sure way to tell exactly how long the data will take to process. I'll ask for a more precise estimate if we can get one, and update you accordingly. I'm pretty confident that it won't take longer than a week to process, but I'll continue to provide updates as new information comes in.

So can anyone answer my question; Will the stats I gained over the outage be recovered? If so, how? Will they automatically update or do I have to play a few rounds to get the points?

Don't think this thread is ready to be retired yet, stats earned during the downtime have yet to be retrieved and credited to the user's account.
