well i been playing counterstrike source a bit recently, and i went back on battlefield for a bit and i thought i was utter crap, the bullet reg is useless, and the game in general just doesnt make me carry on, i go into a round get a load of kills and nothing, just end up turning it off because of finding it boring, anyone else agree?

yup i haven't played bf2 in about 2 weeks cause css the guns are more realistic then bf2

also i played cs from 1.3b to css. the linerity is shockingly bad once you have played something like bf2. it might make praccy sessions a bit better but i can garantee you will get bored with it a lot quicker. also if u want realistic guns....play PR. its mazingly real (and as a result well hard lol).

BF2 is not dying, its just that its **still** full of bugs whereas Valve have taken care of their games and regularly update them - even if they have had a few "bad updates" in the past.

BF2v died for me just in the moment i discovered Project Reality.
Still 800-900 servers populated.. it nowhere near dying.
It's not dying but I think we must admit it has slowed down since the competition of 2142 took some player and servers
