People have been bugging me all week, get on the US server flaming, come on faggot, now look it's 10 on a Saturday night and me and my friend are the only ones on.

I was gonna jump in there, but apparently BF2 does not like my screen resolution or something. Heh, thats odd, set my screen resolution back to that of my old monitor and I still flash the splash screen and then its back to my desktop.

Yeah, with a little help from FM I was able to get BF2 to boot again, only to remember once I had it running, that the US server was on SF. Doh!

what happened to your SF?

Have a new wide screen monitor, spent like 30 minutes fixing BF2 video settings so it would boot. Didn't feel like going through it again for SF.

Since I moved to the university apartments my internet connection has been like 700kb/s...really put a damper on things. For the past few days it has suddenly looked more like this...

I really hope it doesn't go back, or this isn't some freak occurrence...but there was an email about how they did some update that they have been waiting for that drastically reduced strain on their network. I guess so?
