I have to do this 8-10 minute presentation for my ROTC class, and I was planning on doing it on the evolution of the weapons they (USMC) have used (shortened, of course), but I can't find jack about any of it. Any help?
(Standard issue weapons for infantrymen [grunts])
I pretty much need WW1 and down.
Ok I finally found everything I need.
(Revolutionary War)  flintlock musket
(Civil War)                 Model 1861 Springfield Musket
(WWI)                        m1903 springfield
(WWI)                        m1917 enfield
(WWII)                       m1
(Vietnam)                   m14
(Vietnam ^)               m16

If you think anything is wrong tell me please.

No I went there. That's just what they use NOW. In present days.
So no, I don't suck at searching. You suck at knowing what you're searching for.

No, no, and no?
I guess it would help if I specified what kind of weapons. I edited the OP.

The marines also use M249 saw (squad automatic weapon) click here for more info about the rifle

you should put the m4 carbine, the m1-carbine. the m-14 DMR (designated marksman rifle) is used today. and you could put the model 70/700, m-40 but those arent standard issue to everyone

You should look up the late 19th century weapons.  I believe the Marines used the Krag-Jorgenson rifle before the 1903.  Also, be sure to address the evolution of the M16/M4

In World War 2, I know the marines had more weapons then that. I looked up the battle of iwo jima, and first link I saw that the marines specifically used these 3 items in WW2, which you don't have listed.

U.S. Marine Browning M1917
Liquid gas, napalm and hand grenades
Flame Throwers

I think they used the m1 carbine as well.

Try looking on Wiki, i know your list is short on all catagories.

Nice. What Caliber are you? :b
Anyways. I was just looking for rifles that grunts and the like used. Not snipers or LMGs or any of that sort. And it's only 8-10 minutes, so I can't really go too into depth.
