Changing kits and weapons would mean making a brand new mod. Would be a lot to download for the sake of a change of weapon

It would be dead easy to convert a map to have forklifts actually.
Just edit the gameplayobjects.con file from spawning say, an M1A2 to a forklift.
You'd really need to have a big, open, flag map. So Im thinking either Road Rage, Mashtuur or the deck on one of the carriers.
I could convert a map. Just say what one. Could be put together in the space of 30mins.

When is this tournament going to be?I don't wanna miss another but i can't get on until Friday.
Its unofficial to date because we didnt have a map/modders but thanks to Snake, I believe we can.
We would need a server host too and we absolutely NEED a recorder of sorts.
The carrier might be a little too linear though but now that you mention Dalian, that could work. Maybe Oman too. My thoughts on Dalian would be to have the Americans(or Insurgents in this case) spawn at the Reactor towers, while the Chinese(Rebels) spawn at Main Entrance. Then we have them charge at eachother, cavalry style.

The map is not a problem. Its just how many forklifts do we need?
The carrier could actually be quite good fun tbh. Its wide enough and theres enough room to do massive turning circles. And some Essex Guns for the winners to pound the losers with
As for Dalian on the reactor towers and main entrance...yeah actually, that would be pretty sweet. Id have to play about a bit to get enough fork'ers in there (and not spawning inside buildings).
How about the Daqing airfields? 1 team start at the hangars whilst the other team starts at the opposite end - and charge up the airfield. Since its a double runway (both the US and PLA), theres more than enough room.
How about the top of the Kubra Dam?
Im not so sure about Oman since the ground is rough, and the fork'ers take damage like I dont know what.

Ok the carrier is looking better and better. I really like the Daquing idea too. Good point on the Oman with Forks.
Anyways, I'm leaning towards the carrier more and more.
I would really like to get the BF2s US or EU server if possible. If not there's always my clan's unranked (US based) No recorder though, which is a MUST. This absolutely CANNOT go undocumented.

I think this would be MUCH more fun in teams, say 8 teams of two at once.
Finally, what server? I have something we could use if no one has a nice one, but I'm not sure how well it would handle 16 players. For this it might be fine. I'm pretty sure the US server can't be set to a mod.

Gator wont work cuz the F-18s would block you. Plus, we cant really spawn Forks there
If its 10 overall, I think we should move to the double runways for our combat arena. Maybe a sunny map though (Oman or FuShe) to make for a better film.
