BF2s US Server Squad

There is now going to be an official squad for the BF2s US server!
Yes yes, thanks for the applause.

Now. If you would like to join, you must do the following:

- Dedicate your time to fill up the US server.
- Try and be on as much as possible. Being on daily is not required.
- Recruit your friends to join the server. Bribery is a must
- Idle on the server when you are not busy/already playing.
- Have fun!

There isn't much you have to do, just stick around the server and keep it running. The server is desperate and it needs your help to survive.

If you would like to join, post a reply here saying that you would, and you will get a snazzy signature from me. It will say that you are a US Server Squad member.

Again, we need people to join this squad and keep the server living!

I would be in, but no one is EVER on the server when I try to join.

I'm sure having an "official" squad would help, but what is the point if you are the only ones in-game?

But that is the point. If we have about 10 members in the server at all times (well almost all times) in the day, it will become noticed, causing more people to join. They will figure we are good guys, and continue to play there.

That way, people will always be in the server, making it super fun.

I agree, it would be awesome if the BF2S server were more active. I've had some great rounds there.

But I don't understand how this plan would work. If everyone spends 30 minutes or an hour on the server but everyone does it at different times, it would just mean that the server had one or two people in it for portions of the day. Don't you have to set up a meeting time for the entire squad to get on the server?

(It would probably also help to advertise the time in advance on BF2S's front page.) If there was a meeting time I would try to show up to help the server get populated.

I will gladly join, I can be on about 5-6 days a week for around 3 hours.

I can't just go take an afternoon off to play though...

Just try and be on at least once a day, and try and get the server running, that's all.

No really, that isn't so hard to launch BF2.exe and join the server, leave your eBuddy there and switch to desktop and watch some pr0n or do stuff! Downy knows what am I talking about as he was always AFK but still on server, after an hours of playing everyone disconnected but Downy was still there

Maybe instead of idling constantly on EU server I could switch it to US

And for newbies who maybe don't know- idling on server without spawning doesn't appear your SPM so it is pretty healthy

Yeah, and ask Chuy for some more advertisement! I remember that there was already once on top "support bf2s servers" so why not again? People are too lazy to scroll down from Junk Drawer and other sections to BF2s section...

I used to know a guy named Orangehound. He used to keep the TOW handles warm for the rest of the team. I wonder what ever happened to that guy... He was cool.

No kidding. This server is a freaking blast, but it's always either empty or IO. Get some players and some vehicles and I'm there.

damn, my ping was usual 120 at the other side of that big pool now it is 160!
I couldnt hit even an elephant standing 2 meters away from me on IO

EDIT: did you know that it takes 17 TOW missiles to take out UAV? Come on! Join the party!
