So everytime someone writes a new topic and asks for tips, there's always the guy who says "G5 TFW!!!1!" probably withouth even reading anything else than the name of the topic. That guy is a foo.Winston_Churchill wrote:

hmmm the habu is sexier and is cheaper and has on the fly. but then the other is razer any more ideas?
I bought both the Habu and the razer copperhead. There is something wrong with the drivers for both. They both caused STOP errors on my comp which is 3.4 ghz 1g memory 6800 graphics card and x-fi sound. I would look at something else if I were you. If you do a search you will see my original post from about a week ago.
I did like the feel and button placement of the Habu the best....just couldnt get it to work

I have a Habu and I love it. At first I did have some issues with the "out of box" drivers and software, but the drivers off the website corrected everything. I did try a G5 before trying the Habu. I just did not like that the G5 only had one thumb button...
The Habu has awesome response and feel. The software allows for a tremendous amount of tweeking. And it looks pretty awesome as well it you are into the glow pipe thing...
As for the DeathAdder, I have not tried it, sorry.

I love my G5, BUT it has one major, gigantic, collosal zomg my thumb flaw:
the bottom skirt on the left side, where I place my thumb, curves outwards into a sharpish edge, which I usually grip (instead of in the middle, where the actual thumb grip is).
It's how I hold mice. Thumb at the bottom. After an intense game I usually have a massive groove in my thumb from where I was holding my G5.
HOWEVER, I don't know anyone else who has this problem, so I just assume it's just me
