8800GTS Review/Question

OK, so I got my 8800gts today and was wondering a few things and would like to mention some stuff also.

First, wow. This thing barely even tries on bf2 and 2142 with all AA... loaz @ 8xAA; and isnt tested at all.

The thing I was worried about was the heat. It idles around 53 and on load goes to 62. Is that normal or hot or cool or what?

The temp hasnt changed from 59 since i stopped playing bf2 also... wtf? Glitch in nTune?

damn man! i just ordered it today for my comp, how do you like it? did you get the 320 or the 640 mb version? which brand did ya get? (I got the EVGA 320 mb version)

Actually my 7600GT is at 53 degress, but my case is open on the side, so i just sugest you to open your case so it will not be at 62 degress (wich is alot i think) mine dont go more then 58

damn man! i just ordered it today for my comp, how do you like it? did you get the 320 or the 640 mb version? which brand did ya get? (I got the EVGA 320 mb version)

i got 320 XFX (its the only brand ill buy now. they rock and the customer service is so awesome)\\

hmm, is urs OC'd? mine was OC'd to 650/1650 and it never got above 59... not even on HL2 with 16aa and 16at.... but yeah>

opening the case is worse actually because you lose the vortex effect of a closed case.

75 degrees celcius insn't to hot for a graphic card, my 8800GTX can run up to 83 degrees when playing for 4 hours non stop.

you people with 8800GTXs shouldnt complain. my x1900xt tops out at 100° if i don't change the fan speeds from the stock ones

My X800 pro idles at 30C but then again I cool my system and card.

(ex, I have a 120 MM side fan blowing on card, and it has a silencer on it)

CPU is 54.

I don't have an 8800 yet. But that is normal. My cards idle at 63.

Ok stop comparing the older cards with the 8 series. Since there are basically 2 chips in the 8 series, Shader GPU and regular GPU. Kmal, your totally fine.
