Hardest award to obtain in terms of SKILL?

I got the expert knife badge when it still took 18 kills IAR, knifing and paddling dim witted players is easy.

Pistol would be difficult I think, but I think explosive would be the hardest... I won't resort to clay spamming, so that leaves c4 as the only viable option... granted it's easy but I usually play on 64 man servers that are full, so the rounds don't last long enough. I got vet with c4 easy but getting those other 10 kills has always seem to illude me.

The engineer badges are simply boring, I'd probably get them if you could throw a wrench bag lol.

I don't think I have ever really tried for a badge besides the knife one, they always just seem to pop up. I really don't like getting them actually, cause the award takes up a large portion of the screen and usually ends me up in some trouble

The gold knife badge can be hard, but it is easy to get if you join a nubserver.....

And there are so many "lamer-badges" like the AA badge,,, who on earth would want to waste their lives sitting in an AA canon with a maximum of 3 enemy planes around, which will only be over the AA canon for a limited amount of time when they find out you are there... O_o

And the "Purple Heart"-Medal,,,, you suck if you get this xD im sorry but thats the truth,, you have to die 4 times everytime you get a kill,,, i'd say thats noobish :p

My top 3:
1. Troop transporter pin (yup a PIN!! since patch 1.10 it has been impossible to achieve... thx Dice, only one i havent got)
2. Aerial service ribbon (same reason as 1., the impossibility to achieve 15 titan drops since 1.10)
2. War college ribbon (2.0 win lose ratio, assuming you dont leave server before defeat)

If you say so, but I've recieved it 3 times and won the gold and the map, 2 of those times... There are other and more important things to do sometimes then get kills. Think about it.

I cannot believe no one has mentioned Expert Ground Defense - the hardest badge to get legitimately*.

(*now, remember, this thread is about "SKILL" and not slithering around using some lame technique such as the commander loophole).

I would agree that expert engineer is tough (I've gotten it two times, I believe) ... and expert heal is harder than average (I've met the requirements about 5 times on IO servers without breaking a sweat), but those badges are nothing compared with trying to legitimately get Expert Ground Defense.

* Expert Explosives ... all else fails a long round with claymore apm spam will easily get this.

until now, the hardest was the expert pistol. it takes skill to kill 500 guys with the pistol and then kill 18 iar when your opponents drive tanks and use assault rifles against you...
but there are always possibilities to do it the easy way. for nearly every badge.

I think the Expert Armor Badge sux mostly - 400 hours in armor (insane)

The Expert Engineer can be done with vehicle whoring or on INF maps.I had 38 kills with shotgun on sharqi so i was close to it and ofc on a IO server.Anyway i went to Ghost and AA vehicle solved everyting.

The Expert Repair Badge sux really i remember the Veteran was also hard but i did that on 16 slot - 64 size - Dragon.The expert was not ahrd it was freakin hard ! I tried it 3 times to get 20 repairs and ofc 16 slot server and repairing everthing what i could: Scan,UAV,Artillery,Armor @ Wake Island
It was the hardes badge what i ever recived but finally i got it !

Not really, I found that getting the good conduct medal to be a breeze. What I find astonishing is that I got that AND my veteran explosives in the same round. Using claymores. And thats just throwing them left, right and centre in IO Jalalabad.

I think the most difficult would be expert engineer. Considering how slowly you get repair points, I cannot imagine getting 20 in a round. Hell, even getting 5 in a round was difficult for me, what I had to do was get in the buggy and follow a tank around. And the points racked up so slowly that by the time I got the badge, the snare drum hadn't even finished playing out when the round ended.

The only reason I thought Good Conduct Medal was you often have little control over team kills, team damage and team vehicle damage. Your sitting in armor capping a flag and a dpv races in to help. It bumps you - team vehicle damage.

Repair badges aren't difficult if you are playing for them. I've had 8 - 12 several times as USMC on Dragon Valley in full 64 man servers where rounds only last 12-15 minutes. Having the UAV and sat scan on the docks is so convenient. Mashtuur also has the assets conveniently located. In a round that lasted more than 1/2 an hour, 20 repairs points would come easily.

If you look at the dates on mine you'll see that I got my expert explosives and expert knife the old way when the requirments were harder. I would have to say those and the expert engineer were the hardest. Luckily for me I was on a Wake server and just kept repairing the assests on the China side to get mine. A tough one to egt though!
