Funny the otus hasnt blown up on me but I've heard many complaints of this new "feature"
The tip I've heard is to deploy with space above your head and to be moving forward while deploying. i dont know if this is the cure but try it and see.

yea, and you put the IDS on the transport when your blackhawking, i guess you could do the same with the attack helo also
